Enter The Literarian Short Story Contest
The Literarian short story contest opens May 1 and closes on Monday, July 1 2013. Please enter only original, previously unpublished short stories up to 5000 words in length. (Simultaneous submissions are okay, but please notify us immediately if the story becomes unavailable.)
The winner will be published in the September issue of The Literarian—online and in print—and will receive $1000. Two finalists will each receive $100 and possible publication.
You are not eligible to enter if you have been previously published in The Literarian.
Each submission should include a cover sheet with only the title of the story and your contact information (name, address, phone, email). The reading fee for each submission is $15. Please note that we will not be reading regular submissions between July 1 and September 1.
All entries must be submitted online.
